31st. Dicember 2004
After we took breakfast at Along's stall, we agthered at Titiwangsa Lake Garden at 09:00 am. Vehicles courtesy of the KL City Hall for our travelling were waiting. We loaded the kayaks into the 5 tonne lorry and depart to Temerloh and then to Kuala Tahan, National Park at Jerantut. On the way, we dropped at Temerloh to fetch Mahin, local paddler, and had our lunch. Local favourite dish - Gulai Tempoyak Ikan Patin.

We reached Kuala Tahan at 03:30 pm and unloaded our kayak and had our own activities in the evening.

We have planned to paddle at 07:30 am on the following day. Our treasurer has booked breakfast and packed lunch with untie Wan, the local floating restaurant owner. We need the meals as early as 06:30 am on the next morning.

01st. January 2005 (Day 1 expedition - Kuala Tahan to Jerantut Ferry, 63km)
Most of us woke up at 06:00 am and getting ready for the long journey. All paddlers were ready at 06:30 am but our meals are not. At 07:15 am, untie Wan came and hurried up on cooking breakfast and packed lunck for us.

At about 08:15 am, the meals were ready. We took our breakfast in a flash and everybody was ready to do a warm up. 08:30 am Jai lead the warm up activities. We started paddling activities towards Kuala Tembeling at 08:45 am.

At 10:30 am, we reached Kuala Atok. There was an orang asli of Batik tribe settlement in the early 1990's. However, they have been relocated at a permanent settlement at Kuala Tekai. 15 minutes later, we reached Kuala Tekai.

At 01:00 pm we reached at rapid. We decided to have our lunch here. We noticed that the rapids have been covered by sands and the river has widened due to erosion. On the right hand side, the new path is without rapids.

We continued our jurney at 01:30 pm and reached Kuala Tembeling at 02:15 pm.

We continue our paddling and reached Kampung Kuala Teh at 03:50 pm and proceed to Jerantut Ferry.

We reached Jerantut Ferry at 05:30 pm. After everybody is on land, Jai leads the cool down activity in sitting manner. We were just too tired to do it.

We were allowed to camp at Jerantut Ferry police station which is located about 100 meters from the jetty. We were very thankful to the kindness of the officer as there are toilets and place to take proper shower/bath.

Our treasurer has ordered breakfast and packed lunch from the wife of the officer.

We took dinner at Jerantut town.

02nd. January 2005 (Day 2 Expedition - Jerantut Ferry to Temerloh, 80km)
At 05:30 am, participants woke up for preparation. At 06:30 am, breakfast, fried rice and fried rice vermacilli, was ready as well as the packed lunch.

At 07:15 am, we carry the kayaks to the jetty. At 07:45 am, Saum leads the warm up activity. We started our paddling at 08:00 am.

We reached Lubuk Pelam at 11:00 am and decided to take our early lunch. We continued our journey at 11:30 am to Kuala Kerau. We reached Kuala Kerau at 01:00 pm. We took 30 minutes rest and took pictures.

We proceed to Jenderak at 01:30 pm and reached the location at 02:00 pm.

We headed to Temerloh and reached Temerloh jetty at 05:45 pm.
