30th. April 2005
We gathered at our store at Titiwangsa Lake Garden at 09:30 am after we took our breakfast at Along stall. A unit of DBKL's 5 ton lorry for equipment and a van to carry participants were ready for us. After loading the equipment and double checking, we left Kuala Lumpur for Kuala Lipis at 10:30 am.

We reached Kuala Lipis at 01:15 pm and took our lunch at a stall at bus station. We ate rice with ikan patin and jelawat in tempoyak. Our treasurer paid RM 83.00 for all of us - 14 people in total inclusive the drivers and assistance. We headed for Kampung Serau, Kuala Medang at 02:30 pm.

We reached Kampung Serau at 03:45 pm.

|01st. May 2005 (Day One expedition - Kampung Serau to Kuala Lipis - 60km)
We woke up at 06:30 am and got prepared. At 07:30 am, breakfast and packed lunch were ready. We took our breakfast and packing. Our treasurer paid RM280.00 for one day meals (14 people) and RM70.00 as token for the hall we were staying.

At 09:00 am, we started our expedition after we shook hand with locals for their hospatilaty.

At 10:00 am, we reached Kuala Medang. We passed by locals manouevering their bamboo rafts to Kuala Lipis, which are going to be used for 'International Bamboo rafting Expedition' organised by Tourism Pahang.

At 11:15 am, we reached Kampung Tanjung Gahai.

At 12:45 noon, we arrive at Bukit Betong and took our lunch - underneath a newly constructed concrete bridge. We conrinue our journey at 01:35 pm.

At 14:40 pm, we reached Padang Tengku.

At 04:30 pm, we reached Tanjung Lipis, Kuala Lipis and landed our kayak. We portage our kayak to Piah's house which we stayed that night.


02nd. May 2005 (day Two Expedition - Kuala Lipis to Kuala Tembeling - 55km)
At 05:45 am, everybody wokeup and got prepared for day two expedition. At 07:00 am, our breakfast, nasi lemak and mee hoon goreng, is ready and we took our breakfast. Our packed lunch was also ready for despatch. Our treasurer paid RM 330.00 for the one day meals to the land lady (RM 20.00 per head for 14 people) and a token of RM 50.00 for water and others we consumed).

At 07:50 am, we carried our kayaks to the river bank.

At 08:40 am, we started day two journey. From the map, it showed that the journey is shorter compared to day one.

At 10:45 am, we reached Kampung Batu Sembilan and took 30 minutes rest at the sand bank.

At 11:35 am, we reached Kampung Kuala Kenong. This is where jetty to Kenong Rimba Park is located. This park is famous with its caves.

We reached Kampung Tanjung Buluh at 12:50 pm and stopped for lunch. We continued our journey at 13:35 pm.

At 15:15 pm, we reached Mela and arrived destination, Kuala Tembeling, at 04:00 pm.
