CHAMANG WATERFALL

Chamang Waterfall id located at upper Sungai Semantan, Bentong, Pahang. It is among the most popular waterfalls in Pahang for recreational activities and attracts tourists to camp over the weekends. All facilities including camp site, toilets, parking lots, children playground and electricity are available.

The distance from Kuala Lumpur to the waterfall by car will take one and a half hour.

It is believed that Nizam, Haq and Ijoi, who are from Kuala Lumpur Cannoe Sports, are the first Malaysian to descended the river with kayaks on 10th. August 2003. The first person to descend the river is believed to be Kristen and his colleague (the locals called him 'Mat Salleh with Volvo' because the could not recall his name).

On August 2004, The Ministry of Youth and Sports and Malaysia Canoe Association had organised National Slalom and White Water Championship.
